TENNESSEE AIBD Resolution
Title: AIBD Tennessee Society's
Support for the Design Line.

Society
WHEREAS, the Design Line is the basic
information document for that large portion of our membership who, for
whatever reason, are unable to make it to a convention and probably never
will, and
WHEREAS, the Design Line could be
invaluable if used to communicate with Code Officials and others who
influence the building industry in their area, and
WHEREAS, the Design Line could be the basic
information document for the general public, and
WHEREAS, the Design Line has been the
official publication of AIBD for most of the last 50 years, and
WHEREAS, the budget of AIBD is seriously under funded,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the format firstly be
subjected to single color, rather than the full color to reduce the cost
of the publication, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the budget of
the American Institute of Building Design look for other ways to reduce
its expense side and if none can be found consider a Dues increase.
